Billy Marsh

Billy has been attending CCF since 2022. He is married to Kim and they have three children: Wyatt, Logan, and Layla. Currently, Billy is Associate Professor of Theology and Director of the Master of Divinity program in the School of Biblical and Theological Studies at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Originally from the Carolinas, Billy attended North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC, where he earned a B.A. in Christian Studies. He continued his theological education for ministry at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned his M.Div. and Ph.D. in Systematic Theology and Reformation Studies. Billy has served in a variety of roles in the local church from youth pastor to deacon. Billy desires to be a pastor-theologian who ministers the Word of God and sound doctrine for the sake of the church's maturity and mission of the gospel to make disciples of all nations. Some of the authors/figures who have shaped his life and ministry are: Martin Luther, J. C. Ryle, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Sinclair Ferguson, and Kevin Vanhoozer. Billy enjoys spending time together with his family, and when time allows, he tries to tap into his family's deep Southern roots in BBQ by firing up his smoker.
